The Chateau was built in 1711, replacing an earlier Chateau believed to date from the 15th century, the ruins of which can be found in the grounds. It was extended around 1860. The same family occupied the Chateau from the 18th century until 1959.
Since 1990 the Chateau has been totally renovated.
